What are the requirements for application to become a pilot in AIA?


Applicant must be at least 17 years of age, Male or Female, can understand and speak English, and in good health.

Do you help students get a job after graduation?


Yes, we do help willing graduates from our school to undergo our Flight Intructor's Apprenticeship Program. This program allows graduates to be hired by our school as Ground or Flight Instructor, thereby accumulating more flight more flight time while enjoying a salary.

When could I start my training?


AIA accepts students and opens a new batch every 2nd Monday of the month. Training starts on the 3rd week of every month with a minimum of two students per batch.

How long is the course duration?


For the full Ab-Initio Course, it takes 12-14 months to complete. Although this depends factors such as students' performance & cooperation, weather discruptions,government-related and uncomtrollable factors.

I am female, can I be a pilot?


Yes, a female can become a pilot. There are many lady pilots now working in airlines worldwide.

Where will I stay during the course training?


We have hotel partners nearby our training facility in Subic Bay,Philippines at very affordable rates.

Do you have age requirements?


Yes, student must be at least 17 years of age.

Are foreigners like me allowed to study in the Philippines?


Yes, most of our students are from countries other than the Philippines. However,you may contact our office for specific instructions on visa requirements. We will handle the visa processing for you.

Is the license issued by AIA accepted worldwide?


AIA does not issue a license. It is the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) that gives the license.It's the role of AIA to prepare its student to pass and qualify for the CAAP license issuance. CAAP is a member of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). More than 90 percent of countries world-wide are member of ICAO. All ICAO members are obliged to accept the license issued by any of its member. Therefore. any license issued by the CAAP is acceptable literally world-wide.

How much is the cost of accommodation?


Around US$ 110 per month for twin sharing (with a roomate) or US$220 per month for single room occupancy.
